The National Association of Art Critics accepts those in
the membership community, who have ongoing experience not
less than three years in the diverse fields of art criticism.
Within the above mentioned period (three years), each member
is required to have accomplished the following activities:
• Organize exhibitions,
• Write critical and analytical articles for non-profit
projects,
• Correspond with the Mass Media (world-wide-web, radio,
TV, and press),
• Publish scholarly articles and case studies within
the fields of art history, theory, criticism, and aesthetics,
• Lecture the following subjects at Universities or
Academic surroundings:
o art criticism,
o history of modern and contemporary art,
o history and theory of aesthetics,
o how to organize exhibitions.
1. Entry to the membership community takes place every third
month of the year.
2. Applicants are required to provide Curriculum Vitae (CV)
and other documentations or publications that prove their
professional activities (hard copies or electronic versions
of books, articles, recordings, etc.).
3. Members are accepted by the NAAC Board Members.
4. An applicant who is accepted in the membership community
is charged an annual fee.
NAAC welcomes sponsors or contributors to finically support
and encourage in Armenia the growth of art history, curatorial
work and professionalism in art.
